Your responsibilities:
As a senior operations engineer at Vectoflow you are responsible for the processing of customer orders.

Your task is to conduct customer orders and projects. You help develop customer quotations together with the sales team. You conduct the customer project in close collaboration with the productions and development team in a timely manner considering the budget.
Main activities:
  • Plan, schedule, and execute customer projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with various teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets. Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changing priorities or unforeseen issues.
  • Develop customized solutions, utilizing CAD software (Onshape) and engineering analysis tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
  • Generate detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and reports. Maintain accurate records of design iterations, testing results, and project progress.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any unforeseen challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Interface with clients to gather project requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction. Address client feedback and incorporate it into project planning and execution.
  • Improve the company processes to increase efficiency and prepare the company for growth.
Your profile:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in a field related to Mechanical Engineering, Measurement Technology or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in the development and production of measurement systems
  • Strong project lead skills.
  • Understanding of additive and conventional production processes, assembly techniques, and quality control ideally in the context of measurement system manufacturing.
  • Preparation and interpretation of technical drawings and documents according to international standards.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to contribute to the advancement of measurement technology.
  • Open to new ideas - Can-do attitude
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and ideally German
